Dresden plates are my favorite & I've discovered another way to sneak them into yet another design... Do you see them in Santa's beards? It truly is a quilt quick table runner to make for Christmas. No tricky sewing. No fussy points, just fast chain piecing & a few half tiny Dresden plates. My biggest tip for all your sewing is to first spray & press all of your fabrics with Mary Ellen's Best Press before cutting them.

Plastic templates will make this pattern and templates your favorites. Paper templates are included in pattern, but my Tiny Dresden #216 & Tiny Tree #286 template sets makes for quicker & more accurate cutting. You can find them by clicking here.

Finished quilt size is 12 in. x 40.5 in.

Having the right tools makes all the difference!

I've found that using the very small & VERY lightweight Mighty Steam Iron makes my repetitive ironing a total joy, no wrist fatigue even with hours of sewing! You might find you enjoy your quilting more if you had one too. You can find them by clicking here.

Apliquick Bars will help you to make beautiful circles for your Santa noses. If you cut the freezer paper with the 1" circle punch, perfect templates will allow you to make perfectly round noses! Dritz' Mighty Steam Iron & Perfect Piecing Seam Guide will make your quilting more accurate & lots of fun too! They can all be found by clicking here.
