Sulky Cotton Thread 30 wt.

I use this thread a lot & you will too, not only for piecing, but also for appliqué. It's wonderful because it blends well with so many colors of fabrics which is especially perfect for the appliqué of my Dresden plates. Many times I've used multiple fabrics in the same plate; it blends wonderfully! This is also important when using floral or other busy prints when you want the thread to blend in.

Dresden Heaven was both pieced & appliquéd with only this thread. You can see that quilt by clicking here.
